IDC points out that Apple's positive performance comes amid a 3.2 per cent decline in overall smartphone shipments in 2023 compared to the previous year. However, there are signs of recovery, with IDC reporting an 8.5 per cent year-on-year growth in smartphone shipments during the fourth quarter.&nbsp;
