Go Automobiles, the authorised distributor of Ford cars in Nepal is all set to launch the all-new Ford Freestyle to Nepal on 15th of April 2018. The company has published a short video of the car yesterday and now is teasing their customers with a cloth covering it. We can expect the Ford Freestyle to be priced between the Ford Figo and the Ford Ecosport. 

The Ford Freestyle shares the same platform used on the Ford Figo and as such, the wheelbase of both the cars are identical. However, Ford engineers have worked to free more space on the inside. It has translated to more leg space at the back.

The Ford Freestyle gets an all-new 1.2L Dragon Engine churning out 96HP and 120Nm of Torque. It's the second dragon series engine that we are seeing on a Ford car. The other dragon series engine can be found on the Ford Ecosport which as a 1.5L 3-cylinder Dragon engine churning out 123ps of power. And like the Ecosport, the Ford Freestyle's petrol motor is also a 3-cylinder one. 

 Ford is neither calling the Freestyle a hatchback nor is it calling the Freestyle an SUV, rather, the company has naved its Compact Utility Vehicle (CUV) for urban areas. And to be honest, it does make sense. The 'CUV' also has a really good ground clearance of 189mm which is 15mm higher than that of the Ford Figo. 

Exactly 2 months ago, we had mentioned that the <a href="https://www.autoncell.com/detail/news/ford-figo-freestlye-unveiled-in-india-coming-to-nepal-soon"> Ford Freestyle will be making its way into Nepal</a>. And looks like the time has come. We will update the pricing of the various variants of the car when the car becomes official.

Go Automobiles is all set to launch the Ford FreeStyle on 15th April 2018. The Ford Freestyle will be placed between Ford Figo &amp; Ford Ecosport in Nepal.
