Motorcycle riders out there, if you are planning on changing or modifying your bike&rsquo;s looking glass to make it look stylish, then we suggest you, not to. The Metropolitan Traffic Police Department has recently initiated an action against the motorcycle riders who have broken their ride&rsquo;s mirror or modified it in any way.
The department has stated that the random use of looking glass by modifying it, removing it or changing its appearance has highly increased the chance of road accidents in the recent past. Well, to take action against it, the department has initiated this campaign to reduce the chances of road accidents.

Recently as the campaign had started, the Traffic Police Department had caught around 345 motorcycle riders for violating the laws on Saturday (Nov 16). Various riders around the capital city were found modifying their bike&rsquo;s looking glass while some of them were even found removing them to change the looks of their ride.
Well, just yesterday too, 235 riders were caught violating the laws. According to the department, for the action against the rule violators, the department has been charging a fine of Rs.500-Rs.1500 to the riders.

The riders who will be breaking the rules are caught in accordance with the Vehicle and Transport Laws, Act 2049. Well, this is, in fact, a great initiative by the Metropolitan Traffic Department as these types of strict laws highly alert the riders to ride safely while also minimize the chances of road accidents in the future run.
