Xiaomi 12 Lite Specifications Leaked|Could Feature 778G SoC

As Xiaomi has already launched its 12 series now another new entry is expected soon. Xiaomi is currently working on the newly Xiaomi 12 lite 5G and certain leaks and specifications has been revealed through some unknown tipster in twitter. As the name suggests this would be a successor to last year's Mi 11 Lite 5G and 11 lite 5G NE. According to the render the upcoming Xiaomi 12 Lite will have a curved display which one usually gets with ultra-premium phones. It could offer a centered punch-hole display design and pack a triple rear camera setup. The device will have close to no bezels.

The rumor also suggests that the Xiaomi 12 Lite could sport a typical 6.5-inch display with Full HD+ resolution. The panel will have support for a 120Hz refresh rate, up from the 90Hz display that you get on the Mi 11 Lite. The battery could be equipped with a 4,500mAh battery under the hood and Xiaomi may provide support for 67W fast charging. The Xiaomi 12 Lite is said to launch Android 12 with MIUI 13 on top.

Xiaomi will reportedly use the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset, which is also powering the Samsung Galaxy A73 5G. The Xiaomi Mi 12 Lite is also expected to come with a triple rear camera setup, including a 64-megapixel primary camera with OIS support, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 5-megapixel macro camera. On the front, we might see a 16-megapixel sensor.

The phone model number 2203129G has also gone through a Geekbench test, which revealed that it is powered by a Snapdragon 778G chipset. The test unit was equipped with 8 GB of RAM and was running on Android 12. The FCC docs also confirmed that this is MIUI 13.
