As the demand for EVs has recently hyped the Nepali auto market at a swift pace, most of the Nepali car distributors are trying their best to release new EV models among its customers. Well, keeping an eye on that, the upcoming Nexon EV is expected to find a very good market in Nepal as the car comes with the best price, range, and features.
The major feature of the upcoming Tata Nexon EV will be its sunroof which had never been introduced in any TATA cars in the past. The Nexon EV is expected to provide a range of 300km while it might hold a starting price tag of Rs. 35 lakhs in Nepal.

Laxmi Intercontinental is planning on launching the new Hyundai i10 Nios by April 2020 in Nepal. The i10 Nios is also one of the best selling cars by Hyundai while it is also expected to do good business along with the Nepali auto scene.
Designed with sporty and funky looks, the i10 is one of the well-designed cars by Hyundai. The four-wheeler gets major upgrades such as the integrated LED DRLs, LED Fog Lamps, Sleeker design, newly designed headlamps, cascading grills, and more upgrades. The machine-cut alloy wheels placed along with new tail-lights and sharp headlights adds more elegance to its design.
On the inside, the i10 Nios features an 8-inch Touchscreen Infotainment system. Other features such as Automatic Climate Control, USB Charger, Rear AC vents, Cool gloves-box, and rear parking camera are also available in the car.

Yes, Mahindra will also be launching its new EV in Nepal by the first quarter of 2020. The firm will be showcasing and launching the new XUV 300 EV at the upcoming Auto Expo in India starting February 6th while the official distribution of the car will start from March in India.
The XUV 300 EV is also expected to provide a range of 300km. However, the detailed specs of the car have not been unveiled yet. It might inherit a similar design as the Mahindra XUV 300.

Pioneer Intercontinental, the sole distributor for Nissan cars in Nepal is also planning on its new electric car, the Nissan Leaf in Nepal by 2020. The car has already been launched in the International market while it will soon hit the Nepali trails too.
Nissan has already sold more than 4 lakhs units of Nissan Leaf worldwide. Nissan Leaf gets a&nbsp;160kW electric motor&nbsp;which generates a power of&nbsp;214bhp. According to the company, the Nissan Leaf provides a range of&nbsp;363km&nbsp;on a single full charge. There are 3 different modes for battery saving available in the car.
Additionally, the firm also claims that when the Leaf is driven in&nbsp;Eco-Mode, it provides around 10% more mileage than the regular model. The car uses a 40kW lithium-ion battery while it takes around 16 hours to fully charge the battery with a 3kW charger while the 6kW charger only takes around 8 hours.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;
Coming to the pricing of the Nissan Leaf electric car, it comes with a starting price of&nbsp;$29,000&nbsp;while ranges up to $42,000 in the International market. The Nissan Leaf electric car is estimated to cost around 55 lakhs for the base model in the Nepali market.

<h2>Renault Triber</h2>

Advance Automobile, the sole distributor for Renault cars in Nepal will also be launching their new car, the Renault Triber in Nepal by 2020.
The Renault Triber was also showcased at the <a href="../../detail/news/nada-auto-show-2019-all-set-kick-off-within-week-main-highlights-expectations" target="_blank" rel="noopener">2019 NADA Auto Show</a>. The firm is planning on launching its new car in February 2020.

More on, the car will be available in two-seat options: 5 and 7 respectively while it will also have an option for both manual and automatic gearbox transmission. The 1.0L 3-cylinder Turbo-charged petrol engine integrated on the Triber delivers a power of 90bhp along with a peak torque of 110Nm.
The car adopts other safety features such as front dual-airbags, high-speed warning, reverse-parking sensor, ABS and more.
