<p>The latest premium hatchback by Tata, the Tata Altroz has recently received a <span style="color: #ff0000;"><strong>5-star</strong></span> adult safety rating from <strong>Global New Car Assessment Program (NCAP)</strong>.</p>
<p>The new Tata Altroz is waiting on the line-up for its official launch in India on<strong> January 22</strong> while this model is the second one to receive 5-stars from the Global NCAP, after its other sibling, the Tata Nexon.</p>

<p>In the scoreboard, the new Altroz hatchback received a score of 16.13 out of 17 for adult occupant protection, and 29 out of 49 points for the child occupant which is merely 3-stars for child occupant protection. The test was conducted by the Global NCAP in India.</p>

<p>Watching at the TATA Altroz&rsquo;s amazing safety results, David Ward, CEO and President of Global NCAP said, &ldquo;<span style="color: #000000; background-color: #33cccc;"><em>The latest result in our Safer Cars for India crash tests shows a strong signal that Tata is moving its fleet to 5-star levels of safety performance. We would like to encourage all other car manufacturers in India to follow Tata's example and bring affordable 5-star cars to Indian consumers.</em></span>"</p>
<p>For safety, the premium Altroz hatchback comes with <strong>dual-front airbags</strong>, rear parking sensors, ABS with EBD, and ISOFIX child seat mounts as standard. From the Global NCAP rating, it is found that the car&rsquo;s structure and footwell area are toughly designed while the head and neck area for adult occupants were also considered good. Likewise, the hatchback also offered good protection for Chest and calf for adult occupants on the front.</p>

<p>The upcoming Tata Altroz will be coming in both petrol as well as diesel engine options while its engine is fully <strong>BS6 compliant</strong>. More on, the four-wheeler is mated with a 5-speed gearbox as standard.</p>
