Sony is now ready to introduce a traditionally tiny alternative to the market three months after the release of its mainstream flagship smartphone of the year, the Xperia 5 IV. The company has officially confirmed an announcement event. Although Sony makes no mention of it, it appears that the Xperia 5 IV, the Japanese company's tiny flagship for the year, will be unveiled there.

Sony is arranging a product launch event for September 1, as was recently stated on the official Xperia handle. To be precise, the post makes no mention of the specific smartphone that will be unveiled on that date, however, the Xperia 5 IV is widely believed to have that distinction.
The tagline in the viral video also makes reference to it "Be innovative. Go minimal". Of course, there is a potential that the Xperia Pro-I will be followed by a new model, although that seems improbable given how little is known about it.
