The sequel to Sony&rsquo;s previous flagship, the Sony Xperia 1 is now finally made official. Named Sony Xperia 1 II, the new flagship by Sony comes with 5G connectivity while it is the first debut by the firm in 5G technology.

Sony has used the same camera technology that it uses in its Alpha range of camera while the firm primarily targets to provide top-notch auto-focus performance. It also claims the Xperia 1 II to be the first-ever smartphone to support up to 20fps on burst mode which means it can take up to 20 shots each second in burst mode.

Moreover, Sony also claims to gradually have improved the autofocus for low-light conditions in the device. The phone supports video shooting in 4K HDR at up to 60fps. Likewise, on the front, you will get an 8MP (f/2.0) selfie camera which is also claimed to provide improved performance on selfie shots.

The Xperia 1 II is powered by the latest Snapdragon 865 chipset which most of the flagships these days come with. The device&rsquo;s CPU is coupled with 8GB of RAM while you will get a 256GB of onboard storage. The storage is also expandable up to 1TB via microSD. For RAM and ROM variant, Sony has only included a single option in the device, i.e. 8/256GB.
Seemingly, Sony has also made a significant improvement in the battery specs of its new flagship. The new Xperia 1 II boasts a 4000mAh battery which also supports Fast-Charging. The firm claims it to be fully charged with 45-50mins. And not to forget, the device also supports wireless charging.
