Samsung has been one of the first manufacturers to introduce foldable smartphones on the market but due to some defects discovered in the Galaxy Fold, the phone was again set to post-launch around mid-summer.

Recently, the Chinese firm has also filed a patent with the World Intellectual Property Office for registration of an &ldquo;Electronic Device Including a Flexible Display with an Expandable Display Area&rdquo;. This patent was published on the date June 6, 2019, while according to it the firm can manufacture a smartphone with a flexible display while its screen surface can also be extended or enlarged.
As of the patent, it reflects that the frames above and below of the phone will be very broad according to its mechanism while we hope that when the product will be initialized for commercial launch, the design would not exactly be the same.

The patent states that in the unfolded state the surface area increases by at least 60%. Furthermore, the enlarging mechanism of the device can either be manual, semi-automatic or automatic while to enable it a separate side button will be introduced in the device.
However, the fixed launch date for the device has not been revealed yet.
