<imgOnePlus has recently unveiled its new Concept One smartphone which comes with a disappearing camera. The firm has already hinted at the launch of the device earlier this month in a short teaser.

The new phone has been designed in collaboration with McLaren while it is wrapped in McLaren&rsquo;s signature Papaya Orange colored leather. Also, the OnePlus Concept One is going to be the first smartphone to boast an electrochromic glass panel which turns opaque to reveal to hide the rear cameras. OnePlus claims that it takes just 0.7 seconds to transition from solid black to fully clear, which is quicker than the camera itself takes to fully activate.

The design of the smartphone has been inspired by McLaren&rsquo;s 720S Spider Sportscars. The leather panel on the Concept One&rsquo;s back has been fully inspired by McLaren's design.

May be, OnePlus will also reveal us the full specs very soon. The design of the Concept One truly symbolizes OnePlus&rsquo;s innovation on its smartphone&rsquo;s design. With the McLaren Leather finish on the rear along with the camera section covered by a special truly adds an elegant and quirky finish on its design.

Highlighting on the new concept camera of the device, the camera sensors on the device are hidden until it is activated while it only takes around 0.7 seconds to be revealed. And surprisingly, the electrochromic glass housing the camera acts as an ND filter for the cameras. As ND filters are one of the top requirements in photography, this facet of the device can truly be amazing.

The frame of the phone is made of an aluminum alloy treated with a new vapor deposition process so that the thin gold finish layer can be deposited precisely to provide a subtle shine as the company claims.
