<p>As the innovation game in airbags goes on taking a new leap every year, South Korean automaker Hyundai has taken its own leap forward in car safety. The Korean auto-giant has announced a new center side airbag that hangs along with the driver&rsquo;s seat while it inflates between the driver and the passenger in any event of a crash.</p>

<p>More on, this one also protects the occupants from hitting each other in the moments of possible accidents which, in turn, minimizes the chance for secondary injury. These airbags are around 500gm lighter than the regular airbags we see and this one&rsquo;s little smaller too. The firm also claims these Hyundai bags to <em>reduce the possible injury by 80%</em> and that&rsquo;s great news.</p>

<p>Although Hyundai hasn&rsquo;t featured these airbags in its ongoing models, the South-Korean automaker is soon planning on adding up this feature in its future models.</p>
