After most of the smartphone makers are now fully indulged in the 5G run, the popular Taiwanese tech firm HTC has also stood in the line-up by announcing its first-ever 5G smartphone, the U20 5G which will be a 5G mid-ranger by HTC. And with this one, the firm is also releasing the Desire 20 Pro.

The new HTC U20 5G flaunts a 6.8-inch FHD+ LCD display with a punch-hole cut out at the top that houses a 32MP selfie shooter. It has an aspect ratio of 20:9. The device is the latest mid-ranger offering in HTC&rsquo;s lineup while it is also the first one to get 5G connectivity.
Moreover, speaking of the rear camera, the U20 5G packs a quad-camera setup on the back which comprises a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens accompanied by a 2MP macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor.

Under the hood, the device is powered by Qualcomm&rsquo;s Snapdragon 765G chipset coupled up with 8GB of RAM and 256Gb of internal storage. The storage is also expandable via a microSD slot.
Another alluring feature of the device is its battery, i.e. a massive 5000mAh one and also supports 18W Fast Charging. The HTC U20 5G runs on the latest Android 10 and also packs NFC.

Alongside, the U20 5G, HTC is also releasing its new offering, the Desire 20 Pro. This one packs a 6.5&rdquo; FHD+ LCD screen while it comes with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. This one also packs the same camera configurations as of the Desire 20 Pro, however, on the front, you will get a 25MP selfie shooter. The fingerprint scanner in this one is placed at the back of the device,
The device is powered by Snapdragon 665 SoC coupled with 6GB RAM while it comes with 128GB of internal storage which is expandable via microSD slot.

As mentioned earlier, this one also boasts a massive 5000mAh battery unit that and offer 18W fast charging. The HTC Desire 20 Pro runs on the latest Android 10 (Q) while it is NFC supportable too.

Coming on to the pricing, HTC hasn&rsquo;t spoken any word on the pricing of the devices yet. And speaking of their release, the phones will first be released in Taiwan and later on hit the International market.
