Along with the Play 6T Pro, Honor also launched the Honor Play 6T 5G smartphone in China. It is a toned-down version of the Pro model that brings specs like Dimensity 700 SoC, 5000mAh battery, and 90Hz display. In this post, we’ll talk about the specifications, features, and expected price of the Honor Play 6T in Nepal.

Honor Play 6T Overview

Design and Display

Honor Play 6T features a 6.74-inch TFT LCD panel with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. The display supports a 90Hz fast refresh rate, up to 10 touchpoints, and has a 20:9 aspect ratio. It also features a TÜV Rheinland certification for low blue light emission.

The smartphone comes in three colors- Titanium Empty Silver, Magic Night Black, and Charm Sea Blue. It measures 8.62mm thick and weighs 198 grams.

Performance

Powering the smartphone is a MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor, which is an octa-core SoC with support for 5G connectivity. The device comes with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage options. Honor has also added the memory expansion technology that provides 2GB of virtual RAM.

The smartphone packs a 5000mAh battery with support for 22.5-watt charging. On the software side, the device runs on the Magic UI 5.0 based on Android 11.

Camera and Others

For optics, the dual-camera setup of the 6T features a 13MP primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor. Upfront is a 5-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. Camera features like time-lapse photography, large aperture, night scene, portrait, continuous photography, AI photography, and others are also available in the smartphone.

Connectivity options on the smartphone include 5G, WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, and a USB Type-C port. Furthermore, the fingerprint scanner on the device is integrated onto the power button.
