Indian Automotive firm- Hero Motocorp has successfully completed its 10 years as an independent brand.
Hero’s 10 years Legacy
It has been 10 years since the collaboration between Hero and Honda broke down in India. Yes, we still remember our father, uncles, or elder parents riding the classic old Hero Honda Splendor. This was a time when Hero Honda itself was a premium brand in the two-wheeler segment with lofty units sales every year.
But sadly, in 2011 Hero ended its collaboration with the Japanese automaker, making itself an independent brand. Since then, Hero Motocorp has been working as an independent bike brand in India for 10 years now offering us a variety range of two-wheelers. Although Hero offered a number of bike and scooter options from its stable, the Indian brand couldn’t quench the thirst of the old Hero-Honda fans.

Later, in 2019 Hero arrived with its first-ever affordable adventure bike- the XPulse 200 that changed the whole game for Moto fans. Hero introducing a good-looking and performing bike- XPulse 200 at an affordable price tag allured the customers again towards the brand. Interestingly, the bike also brought home the award for ‘Best Indian Motorcycle of the Year 2019’ that further enhanced its popularity.
With this, the market share of Hero Motocorp achieved a new high. Now the Indian brand has also introduced its age-old popular machine- Glamour commuter bike in a new version, i.e. Glamour Xtec.

Although being a 125cc commuter, the bike arrives with a digital instrument cluster infused with modern tech features like Bluetooth-Smartphone connectivity. The bike was launched at an aggressive price tag of INR 78,900/- With the launch of Glamour Xtec, we auto enthusiasts have high hopes for Hero.
In this way, after Hero returned as a strong competitor back to its two-wheeler battlefield, there is no looking back for the Indian brand. And we hope it continues to preserve its decade-old legacy.
