The Customs Department has published the list of vehicles that have passed the customs inspection in the fiscal year 2076/77 BS. The customs department has made public the statistics of imported vehicles till Jestha of the current fiscal year after reports started coming that 120 vehicles had been released by leaking information before the budget.

According to the data released by the Customs Department, only 574 units of electric vehicles were imported in the first 11 months of the current fiscal year 2076/77. In addition, 93 units of electric vehicles were imported in the month of Jestha.
Only 9,775 units of petrol and diesel vehicles have been imported in the current fiscal year, i.e. 6838 units less than the data of previous Fiscal Year 2075/76.
