<p>The Customs Department has published the list of vehicles that have passed the customs inspection in the fiscal year 2076/77 BS. The customs department has made public the statistics of imported vehicles till Jestha of the current fiscal year after reports started coming that 120 vehicles had been released by leaking information before the budget.</p>
<p>Paramount Motors who has been the dealer for MG motors in Nepal was also accused of tax evasion of 120 electric cars which later on</p>
<p>According to the data released by the Customs Department, only <strong>574 units</strong> of electric vehicles were imported in the first 11 months of the current fiscal year <strong>2076/77</strong>. In addition, 93 units of electric vehicles were imported in the month of Jestha.</p>
<p>Only 9,775 units of petrol and diesel vehicles have been imported in the current fiscal year, i.e. 6838 units less than the data of previous Fiscal Year 2075/76.</p>
