<h2>The attack seems like the doing of the REvil. The group responsible for the ransomware attack on Travelex</h2>
News has been flying that the Taiwanese computer manufacturer Acer has been hacked by A hacking group called the REvil and is demanded $50 million on ransomware. According to the<a href="https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/security/computer-giant-acer-hit-by-50-million-ransomware-attack/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> reports of Bleeping Computer</a> and many other sources, it is said that to gain the access to the companies network the hacker group may have exploited a Microsoft Exchange Vulnerability. It is reported that its the largest ransomware demand.
Reports coming from Bleeping Computer also suggest that the hacking group called REvil has given Acer until March 28th to pay the ransom. This group of hackers is not a new band as they were behind the ransomware attack on Travelex (a foreign exchange company based in London) last year. The hacker&rsquo;s group announced the breach on Acer Last week even posting some images for proof on the dark web.
Acer hasn&rsquo;t talked much about the ongoing investigation for security reasons according to different sources.
